Landscape Forms has relaunched SHUFFLE, a modular multi-function pole designed to consolidate Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, two-way communications and EV-charging capabilities in one vertical system. The relaunch is presented as a response to public spaces’ growing use of single-purpose poles for sensors, cameras, lighting and connectivity, especially where space is at a premium.
The update is positioned around expanding site functionality without adding visual clutter or additional cost. According to Landscape Forms, SHUFFLE stacks its capabilities into a pole that is easy to activate and install. Its modular components are intended to support customization and future adaptability, while the integrated design is meant to bring modern aesthetics and efficiencies to busy, multi-use environments.
Landscape Forms has also introduced a new build feature on its website to simplify configuration. Clients can specify preferred camera and technology brands and choose from a range of options within each category. The company says the system can be configured for specialized environments as well as general public spaces.
New feature updates include plug-and-play options: a 360-degree area light, a decorative light ring, a 180-degree area light, quad-view and 180-degree cameras, motion sensors, and loudspeaker and intercom modules. These additions broaden the ways site managers can combine lighting, security, connectivity and communications on a single pole.
“This is the solution site designers have been waiting for,” said Shannon Lee, Business Development Manager for Smart Poles at Schréder. Lee said SHUFFLE was designed to fit busy public spaces with product and feature sets that can be updated as site needs evolve. Safety and connectivity, Lee added, are integrated without dominating the outdoor space, making the system accessible and user friendly.
Landscape Forms lists university and business campuses, airports and commuting hubs, shopping malls and tourist areas, concert halls, city parks, sports venues and hospitals among the environments suited to the system. In those settings, the company says, SHUFFLE’s multi-use adaptability and communication features can help site managers address a range of requirements.
Jordan Agustin, President of Lighting at Landscape Forms, said SHUFFLE reflects technology and design working together to make outdoor spaces safer and smarter without compromising aesthetics. Agustin said the new features and capabilities integrated into the streamlined design enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor space while advancing the company’s mission of connecting people to the outdoors and to each other.
The relaunch places SHUFFLE in a category of infrastructure that aims to support safety, connectivity and electric-vehicle charging without requiring separate poles for each function. Landscape Forms’ announcement focuses on configuration flexibility and modular updates; specific performance data, pricing and installation timelines were not provided.
